Man From NebraskaA luxury sedan, a church pew and visits to a nursing home form the comfortable round of Ken Carpenter’s daily life.  And then one night, he awakens to find that he no longer believes in God.  This crisis of faith propels an ordinary middle-aged man into an extraordinary journey of self-discovery.  This wickedly funny and spiritually complex play examines the effects of one man’s awakening on himself and his family.

Auditions for Eye of God

Theatre Pops is holding a reading for its upcoming production of Tim Blake Nelson’s Eye of God on September 12 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Theatre Tulsa, 207 N. Main St. Eye of God will run Nov. 18-21 at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.

We are looking for the following:
9 men and 3 women, (1 of the 9 Male Roles has been cast)
(1) young male 14-18 yrs.
(7) men 25-55 yrs.
(3) females 25-40 yrs.

Tinkerbell is tomorrow!

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is your only chance to see the 2010 edition of Tinkerbell is Dead…Free Beer! It is going to be laid back, interesting, and tons of fun, so you won’t want to miss it. Stick around afterwards and say hi to everyone. Again, the show is Sunday night at 8 p.m. in the Norman Theatre of the Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $15. We hope to see you there!

Join us for Tinkerbell is Dead…Free Beer! on July 18 at the PAC.

This one-night-only performance of contemporary monologues will take place at 8 p.m. in the Liddy Doenges Theatre. The production is part of SummerStage 2010.

Come See The Misanthrope This Weekend!

Theatre Pops’ production of Moliere’s The Misanthrope opens Thursday at 8 p.m. and runs through Saturday. The show will take place in the Norman Theatre at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $15. You won’t want to miss it!
